White/Brown Goods

The City of Wahpeton currently has a white/brown goods pickup program available.  If you have a white/brown good that you need to recycle, but you have no way to take it to the Yard Waste area, stop at City Hall during normal office ours (8 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday) and purchase a sticker to place on your recyclable.

White Goods – Home appliances such as stoves, air conditioners, water heaters, dryers, deep freezers, microwaves, etc.  (All refrigerators and freezers must be emptied and doors removed)  Disposal fee for all white goods items is $12 each.

Brown Goods – Electronic waste (E-waste) are items such as televisions, computers, radios, stereo systems, and space heaters.

TV’s (up to 19 inch screen) - $20.00
TV’s (20” to 27” screen) - $25.00
TV’s (28” to 40” screen) - $30.00
TV’s (41” and up) - $35.00
Miscellaneous & CPU - $8.00
Flat panel TV (less than 36”) - $10.00
Flat panel TV (37” or more) - $15.00
